Assortment

There's a wide-spread rumor that in college you have tons of free time. I'm here to myth-bust that one right now. Sure, you only have class for a couple hours a day, but somewhere in the hustle and bustle of first semester, time flies by and all of a sudden you're home on Christmas break. Needless to say, the camera wasn't my top priority all semester, but while I was out and about in Druid Hills, Georgia I snapped a few of these beauties. A peak into my first semester at Emory:

fluff

water

tude

pop

groove

personality

dangle

hiya
splash

click
warmth

perserverance

words

boot

dangle
growth
celebrate

Walk in the Woods

So. It's obviously been a while since I've whipped out the good ol' Rebel and taken some photos with the intention of them being art (yes, the XSi190 is also good for documenting some pre-party shots and birthday dinners) so I was itching to get out and screw around with the shutter speed. I dragged my lovely roommate Grace (must run in the name) and our friend Dana out to Lullwater Park where there are some trails, great autumn colors, and an awesome old abandoned building. Not only are Grace and Dana just the cutest things ever, they also have great style and I was loving their boots against the greens. And no... they are not getting engaged.

Cannon Falls

Cassie has been an old friend of mine since the 8th grade. But we did not meet in the friendly halls of VVMS; she was my babysitter. We have kept in touch throughout the years during her time at Olaf and recently with her wedding to Joel. Her graduation gift to me was a a camping trip to Cannon Falls, MN! She brought along her hubby's Canon cam as well so we had some fun screwing around with the features. Here's a sampler of our trip!
